Last week BIFA’s James McKean attended Sustainable Logistics Live at the Royal Geographical Society in London.

The conference focused on addressing Scope 3 emissions through smarter and more sustainable logistics practices. The choice of venue was particularly fitting, reflecting the Society’s historic association with exploration and discovery, encouraging the innovative spirit required to advance sustainable logistics in a competitive marketplace.

The event was both practical and inspiring, showcasing real-world examples of companies successfully reducing their emissions, enhancing efficiency, and demonstrating the competitive advantage available to those leading the transition.

BIFA was pleased to see strong member representation at the event, including a keynote address from a BIFA member on the electrification of road freight.
