Following numerous changes impacting the industry since its last evaluation, BIFA is looking to review its Standard Trading Conditions. To gain further insight into our members’ views, we are running a consultation until February 7th.
One of the cornerstones of BIFA membership is that only freight forwarding Members have the exclusive right to us the BIFA Standard Trading Conditions (STC).
Since they were last reviewed in 2020, leading to the 2021 edition, there have been numerous significant events, the most significant perhaps being the UK leaving the EU, leading to significant regulatory and market changes.
To give us further insight into our members’ views, members are invited to be part of the consultation process to suggest changes to the STCs.
When making suggestions it is important to remember that the STCs have to be compliant with all current legislation and, to meet Member requirements the STCs have to fit on a single sheet of A4 paper.
To take part in the consultation, please fill in the form below – the deadline is February 7th 2025.
BIFA would like to thank you for your time and effort in assisting us with this project.
