HMRC is aware of some temporary issues with license data flows between CDS and the Department of Business and Trade electronic licencing system. These issues occur when a CDS export declaration contains errors which impacts the licence. As a result, the declaration cannot progress to a cleared status.

To assist traders, HMRC has prepared a temporary guidance for customers to overcome the issue.
