Please be advised of an upcoming CDS update scheduled on 14th December. The system will be updated without a downtime.

Release 4.6.1 will deliver changes to:

  • Claims to be made for preference under the terms of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, which will come into force on 15th December 2024
  • Document code Y100, ahead of changes to the process for claiming RPA quotas
  • New tax type is being introduced for electronic smoking devices that do not attract excise duty

See the attached document for the detailed list of changes.

In order to avoid declaration rejections for shipments arriving on or after 16th August, all declarations should be pre-lodged according to the shared guidance.
