CDS Update 4.9.0.1 – Actions to Take.

HMRC has announced a forthcoming CDS update on 23 October 2025

The update will be completed without a system outage. This release includes:

Adding electronic document functionality to several Document Codes
Changes to the use of Document Status Codes ‘XW’ and ‘XX’
Changes relating to NI movements
