HMRC has announced a forthcoming CDS update on the 8 January 2026. The update will be completed without a system outage. This release includes:
- Validating updates for some document codes
- Country of despatch declaration
- Mandatory declaration of Statistical Value for Exports
In order to avoid declaration rejections for shipments arriving on or after 8th January, all declarations should be pre-lodged according to the shared guidance. Please see the attached file for more information.
