HMRC has announced a forthcoming CDS update on 13 December 2025
During the update the system will be unavailable from 21:30 on Saturday 13th December to 06:00 on Sunday 14th of December.
This release includes:
- Adding electronic document functionality and validation
- Changes to the use of Document Codes
- Changes relating to NI movements
In order to avoid declaration rejections for shipments arriving on or after 13th of December, all declarations should be pre-lodged according to the shared guidance.
