HMRC has announced a forthcoming CDS update taking place on the 29 April 2026
The update will be completed without a system outage.
The 5.1.0.2 release includes:
- changes to Transfer of Residence movements
- updates for document/procedure/location codes/error codes
- use of commodity codes for exporting personal effects
To avoid rejections, any pre-lodged declarations that arrive on or after the release date should be submitted based on the shared instructions.
