HMRC has announced a forthcoming CDS update taking place on Saturday 4th July.
The CDS Service Availability page on GOV.UK will be updated with the timings for the system outage once this information is known: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/customs-declaration-service-service-availability-and-issues#planned-downtime
The 5.2.0 CDS release includes:
- Additional Procedure Code changes
- Commodity and AI Code changes
- APC and Document Code declaration
- Changes related to NI movements
To avoid rejections, any pre-lodged declarations that arrive on or after the release date should be submitted based on the shared instructions.
