We have been informed by Hutchinson Ports of a new surcharge that will be introduced for trailers at both the Port of Felixstowe and Harwich International Port.

Please find the attached advisory, which outlines key details including the surcharge amount, rebate mechanism, effective date, and other relevant information.

The advisory has also been published on the Port of Felixstowe website, and a LUMALL notification will be issued to all badge code holders via Destin8. The Port has advised that it has consulted with the relevant shipping lines—DFDS and Stena—who may, in some cases (e.g. GVMS), be liable for the charge. Efforts have been made to provide as much advance notice as possible, with the surcharge not coming into effect until 1st July.
