HMRC has published updated guidance on changes to the Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS) for movements using the Entry in Declarants Records (EIDR) process into Northern Ireland. These changes are effective from 31 March 2025.

The guidance outlines key processes for obtaining a Goods Movement Reference (GMR) and details the requirements for:

  • Trader Support Service (TSS)
  • Simplified Customs Declaration Process (SCDP)-EIDR
  • UK Internal Market Scheme (UKIMS)-EIDR
  • Notification of Presentation Waiver (NOP Waiver)
  • UK Carrier Scheme (UKC)
