The transition period to move from CHIEF to CDS ended on 4th June 2024. Consequently, the declaration submission requirements have changed, and the new Customs Declaration Service is now fully implemented to facilitate the declaration submissions.

To reflect the legislative changes HMRC has published a public notice to provide the detailed description of the changes.
