HMRC has notified BIFA of the introduction of a new document code to correctly declare Export Health Certificates

Document code 9EHC is being added to Appendix 5A to provide exporters with a place to declare Export Health Certificates so that they are not declared inappropriately against document code X001.

Export Health Certificates are issued for use in the destination country, but if declarants choose to include them on the export declaration then please do not declare them against document code X001, which should only be used for RPA Export Licences.
