BIFA has been notified of a forthcoming IPAFFS/ALVS system disruption scheduled on the 10th of August, 8:00 to 21:00
See the below DEFRA message for more information:
Please be advised that the previously scheduled update for IPAFFS on Thursday, 7 August has been postponed. However, there will be a separate network upgrade taking place on Sunday 10 August between 8am and 9pm.
This upgrade may result in intermittent disruption to ALVS and IPAFFS services during the change window.
In the event that you experience any issues, please contact STORM by emailing: Stormincidentresponse@defra.gov.uk
Before contacting Storm, please ensure:
- The CHED is fully submitted and visible in IPAFFS.
- SPS checks (as applicable) are complete.
- A customs hold is visible in CDS that requires action.
- You include the MRN, and all relevant CHED references.
Please note the Storm inbox is not able to assist with:
- CHEDs still in draft or amendment status
- General or policy-related questions
Messages that do not meet these criteria may need to be redirected, which can lead to delays.
Thank you for your understanding as we work to complete this upgrade as swiftly and smoothly as possible.
