HMRC has announced the cancellation of the Modernising Authorisations project, which was intended to simplify and improve the way customs and excise authorisations are accessed and managed.
The project aimed to introduce a single digital platform to streamline processes for both new and existing authorisation holders, reducing complexity and improving efficiency. However, following a review, HMRC has decided to discontinue the initiative.

Please find the official HMRC announcement attached.
