NaVCIS are currently assisting ITN News with a potential TV feature on national lorry crime/cargo crime and are requesting any historic CCTV footage i.e. old cases that are not currently under investigation

If you have any historic CCTV footage of lorry crime/cargo theft in progress – that you are willing to share with the Press and give authorisation to use the footage – all responses will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

We understand the reluctance of some businesses/hauliers to release footage into the public domain for business confidentiality reasons. We have been given assurances from ITN News and NAVCIS that any CCTV footage put forward will be completely anonymised for Television purposes
