To assist traders with this update, HMRC has released a FAQ document which offers clarification on most commonly asked questions regarding NCTS5.

In addition, Members are advised, due to essential maintenance to the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) XI & GB channels, the system will be unavailable on:

Tuesday 25th February 2025

NCTS XI 20:30 – 22.00 (Duration 1.5hrs)

NCTS GB 22:00 – 23.30 (Duration 1.5hrs)

Any NCTS data submitted during this period via the NCTS XI & GB service channels will be held and processed once the maintenance activity has concluded and the service is available again.
