Following the implementation of NCTS5 Final State Rules, an issue has been identified where users may receive an IE057 rejection message from Office of Destination, if they have added additional goods items to existing house consignments.

To avoid rejection, HMRC has polished a workaround document outlining the required actions.

A permanent fix is currently in development and scheduled to be delivered in September 2025.
