HMRC would like to invite members to share feedback on readiness to submit Safety and Security (S&S) declarations for EU imports from the 31 January 2025.

Please see below the invitation received from HMRC:

As you’ll be aware, on 31 January 2025 the Safety and Security (S&S) waiver on EU imports will be removed, meaning that goods moving into GB from the EU will now require S&S declarations, also known as Entry Summary Declarations (ENS).

As part of preparations for this change, HMRC has issued this short, anonymous survey aimed at businesses who will be affected, to best understand what support you may need and any barriers you might be encountering. Please do consider filling this in – it should take no more than 5 minutes and will help ensure that your needs are met as we approach 31 January.

The survey is anonymous and will be open until Tuesday 10 December.
