HMRC has issued further information related to the forthcoming S&S declaration requirement coming into force from the 31st of January 2025.
The published updated FAQ document and the Countries of Routing guidance offers additional information on:
- recording countries of routing
- clarification on country of dispatch and country of origin
- declaring customs transit or temporary storage movements
- what to do if the relevant customs office of first entry code is not available
- declaration for goods transiting UK or remaining on board
