HMRC invites members to attend a follow up webinar on Declaration Completion Instructions (DCIs) for the simplified processes being introduced by the Windsor Framework

Teams live event Monday 24 March 11:30 -13:00 Simplified Process for Internal Market Movements (SPIMM) DCI walkthrough.

The Windsor Framework requirements are imminent and establish a new set of arrangements for the movement of goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland via both parcels and freight.

To help you prepare for the implementation of the Windsor Framework, we are offering another walkthrough of the Declaration Completion Instructions (DCI) on Monday 24 March 11:30-13:00. These DCIs are technical instructions, which define the ‘internal wiring’ of the CDS system and how declarations need to be completed on CDS. These are published on GOV.UK here: Simplified Process for Internal Market Movements (SPIMM) and UK Carrier (UKC) Scheme: CDS Declaration and Customs Clearance Request Instructions – GOV.UK

This event will be a technical brief that you may find helpful if you submit, or build software that submits, directly into CDS, to understand the technical system changes. This is a repeat of the webinar held on 5 March 2025 – we apologise to those who experienced issues in joining.

This event will be on Teams Livestream, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions via the Q&A tab on the platform.
